Testimonials
Giving hope to those in need.
The Earnest House changed my life in ways I never thought imaginable. Not only my life others around me as well. The time I spent living with and working for the Earnest House was the best investment I could have ever made for myself. Today, I keep the resources and knowledge I've gained from being there and I spread the word to many people I see struggling in the streets. I let them know that I've been there... I was homeless for 6 yrs before I was arrested. It is a lifestyle not easily changed. The Earnest House and the rules were designed in such a manor to help conquer this transition for me I am forever indebted to Danny Howe and his vision”
David Cox
"I came to The Earnest House full of hope and high expectations for myself. I had just left inpatient rehab after a year and was looking for a stable environment to rebuild my life and relationships. I found that and much more with The Earnest House. I gained a family and friends like I had never know before. True friends that tell you what you need to know but help you get there. I found the structure and life skills I never learned growing up in a life of addiction and crime. I was given the opportunity to manage one of The Earnest Houses for a time and lead the guys I had become so close to in the same direction to go get the things we'd missed out on. Things like school and jobs, cars or home of our own. And that's exactly what I did. After I left the house, and was a couple of months into my new life adventure I lost my mother. This was the worst thing I'd ever gone thru and Danny didn't hesitate to help. He brought me back in to the house free of charge for a month so I could be with my family and friends with their friendship and the grace of Jesus Christ. I am coming thru that storm and I am 4 years clean in August. My faith in God has become the most important thing in my life. I have a real world relationship that allows me to stay content in where I am in the moment to live everyday like its the last."
